Last Sunday in Dallas a yearly event in street fashion hits Deep Ellum called Kixpo. And our homies at Matrimoney where there showing off some of the lastest in the “Black Summer” Line. First off I want to say thanks to Will and Geoff for the hard work they put into the collection! The displays as you can see from the slide show where fucking awesome. Probably the BEST booth and effort from all the Dallas clothing lines. You can just see the vision and marketing from Matrimoney’s end.

The only bad thing was how hot the damn place was. Other than that the event was something if your in the DFW area you should check out.

If you haven’t heard of Matrimoney Clothing you must be living under a rock, simple fact is the are string up a TON of buzz around the Dallas/DFW area. Working with such artist as Curren$y, Travis McCoy, Pac Div and hosting events such as Big Sean coming in September. What ever you have to say about Will, or Geoff good or bad, hey at least your talking which is exactly what they want. Now, we chop it up with Will to get the scoop on some questions we have personally been wanting to know.

1) When did you get the idea to start your own clothing company?
we’ve always had an overall passion for fashion,music,art

2) How would you describe your grind and what makes you guys unique?
We try to be as persistent and current as much as possible, all the time.We never wanna be in the same category as the next guy, our goal is to set the standard.

3) I notice you guys build relationships with artist, some would say its a bad move to mix business with friends. How do you guys feel?
It really depends, we’re personal friends with alot of artist we work with.

4) How would you describe your first meeting with Spitta?
Haha real cool, met him with the owners of one of our retailers about 4 years ago. Showed him some product he said he digged it, boarded some paper planes and went to his show after that. JET Result of Meeting CurrenSy (wore Arms tee on MythBlazers) 3:55 mark and Myth blazers 2

5) In 10 years where would you like to see Matrimoney?
We see ourselves as being an established internationally recognized brand.
